CCM Structure

The Country Coordinating Mechanism-Nigeria (CCM Nigeria) was launched on the 5th of March 2002 and was endorsed by Mr. President (GON).
It has 30 members representing various organisation of the GF constituencies who are elected/selected following a clear transparent and documented process. Since the launch of The Global Fund to date, CCM-Nigeria has coordinated and presented Country proposals which have successfully accessed $494,171,787USD about (56.8 Billion Naira).
The purpose of the CCM Nigeria is to make contributions that enhance the Global Funded-programs' performance, while providing the link between Global Fund operations, CCM Nigeria member constituencies, and Nigerian stakeholders.
The CCM Nigeria utilizes existing organizational structures of the Public Sector, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), Private Sector, as well as Bilateral and Multilateral Agencies, in the field of AIDS, TB and Malaria in order to promote efficient service delivery, prevent duplication and strengthen coordination mechanisms between the different stakeholders.
The mandate of the CCM Nigeria is to develop and submit viable and appropriate proposals to the Global Fund, and to oversee and support the implementation of projects that are initiated by the CCM and financed by the Global Fund
